FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions
What is an approved vendor?
- An approved vendor is one who has previously worked at our venue, demonstrated professionalism, respected our property, and provided exceptional service. These vendors have earned our recommendation, and we would gladly welcome them back.

What is a Damage Deposit, and Why is it Required?
A damage deposit is an additional fee separate from the wedding package cost. This deposit serves as a security measure to cover any minor damages that may occur during the event. The damage deposit can be applied to cover costs for things like broken dishware, professional cleaning for stained rugs or carpets, excessive trash removal (if additional time is needed to clean property grounds or remove debris from areas like the pond or canyon), and minor paint touch-ups.

What are Vendor Fees, and Why are They Required?
Unlike many venues that charge a percentage-based fee, we offer a flat-rate vendor fee. This fee applies to vendors using our bar facilities, custom warming kitchen, and its premium finishes and appliances. Some vendors, such as food trucks or self-contained trailers, may not need access to these amenities and are therefore exempt from this fee.

Why Are Separate Vendor Damage Deposits Required?
After our first season hosting multiple vendors, we recognized the need for vendors to be held accountable for any damages caused by their team. We believe clients shouldn’t be responsible for damages caused by hired vendors. This deposit also emphasizes the importance of respecting the venue’s custom, high-end finishes.

What is a Warming Kitchen?
A warming kitchen is not a commercial kitchen, so it is not licensed for preparing food from a raw state. For a use fee, our warming kitchen can be used to serve food prepared off-site, keep food warm in the oven, wash dishes, and store items like produce, cakes, and condiments in the refrigerator.
Please adhere to the following guidelines to help maintain the kitchen:
-
Avoid overloading glass refrigerator shelves.
-
Bring coolers or containers in carefully—do not drag them on concrete floors or block kitchen access, as this can pose a fire hazard.
-
Do not place coolers, boxes, or totes against custom cabinets, as they are costly to refinish or replace.
-
Always use a cutting board, and clean and return any items borrowed from our stocked kitchen.

What is the Outdoor Kitchen Used For?
The outdoor kitchen primarily functions as an outdoor bar for events. A separate vendor fee applies for use and setup of the outdoor bar facilities.

Why Can’t Vendors or Clients Cook in the Outdoor Kitchen?
To manage liability, we do not permit cooking in the outdoor kitchen. This reduces the risk of equipment issues and ensures that expectations are met without disruption on your special day.
